Pre-Requisites

The most important pre-requisite for the CCSP™ boot camp is the CCNA® certification. You must be CCNA® certified before you start the CCSP™ boot camp. If you are not CCNA® certified, ask our salespeople about the CCNA® + CCSP™ economy package.

The boot camp is designed for I.T. Professionals with a minimum of one and a half years of networking experience, supporting a TCP/IP network. While not required, if you have any of the following certifications, you are most likely ready to take the CCSP™ boot camp: MCSE 2000 or CNE.

To qualify for the bootcamp, you are required to take a 25 question, 50-minute online skills assessment test.

Student Materials

CCSP® bootcamp is conducted using Cisco® Authorized Curriculum*. Considering today's demanding IT job market and the to-the-point specific knowledge required for Cisco® exams, Cisco® Authorized Curriculum* is second to none.

Test prep material for all 5 tests will be included in the bootcamp.

Vouchers and Exams

You will receive 5 test vouchers. If you have already passed some of the CCSP™ tests, talk to your counselor about a voucher discount.

The BootCamp will prepare you for the following exams:

• 642-501 MCNS Securing Cisco® IOS® Networks (SECUR) (Formerly MCNS)

• 642-521 Cisco® Secure PIX firewall advanced (CSPFA™)

• 643-531 Cisco® Secure Intrusion Detection System (CSIDS™)

• 642-511 Cisco® Secure VPN (CSVPN™)

• 642-541 Cisco® SAFE Implementation

All exams are delivered at the training center, which is an authorized VUE or Prometric Testing Center. We will provide a large number of testing stations dedicated to the boot camp. A test administrator will be available throughout the day, and in the evening, to register you for the tests.

Each day the boot camp starts at 8:00 am sharp and continues until 8:00 pm.
