The HP System Administration and Hardware Maintenance course teaches key HPUX and HP9000 System Administration knowledge and skills, with the goal of providing competent administrators for HP9000 systems. The HP9000 Desktop, Server & V-Class Maintenance portion is approximately 6 days and will prepare students to operate and maintain the HP9000 desktops, servers and V-Class Server.

The HP9000 System Administration/HP9000 Desktop and Server Maintenance/ HP V-Class Server Maintenance Course is intended for the individual who is responsible for performing any system administration tasks on an HP9000 system and is intended for Field Service and Support personnel.

Course Prerequisites

Fundamental knowledge of computer hardware/software components and operating a computer through a Command Line Interface and/or Graphical User Interface is required. Previous experience in UNIX environments is desired. In addition, experience troubleshooting computer systems is required.
